Cirque Éloize iD and Funemployed Chicago team up...

Cirque Éloize iD and Funemployed Chicago team up in a hilarious funny short film with trial biker Thibaut Philippe! CHECK IT OUT AND SHARE!

Cirque Éloize is thrilled to announce that it has teamed up with Funemployed Chicago to create four innovative viral videos. The first video, “The Commute” - released Friday April 29th - features iD bike trial champion, Thibaut Philippe, performing remarkable bicycle stunts in front of Chicago’s favorite and most notable landmarks in a hilarious and mind-blowing web video on Youtube.

Following sold-out engagements in Montreal and Toronto, world-renowned Cirque Éloize presents its critically-acclaimed new production iD. Cirque Éloize iD will run until May 8th at the Cadillac Palace Theatre and beginning May 10th at theCiti Performing Arts Center/Wang Theatre in Boston.

“Thibaut Philippe does a slew of things on two wheels that you or I couldn't even do on four,” raved Chris Jones, Chicago Tribune. The Montreal Gazette called iD “a thrilling piece of work, full of attitude, energy and invention.” The Toronto Star exclaimed, “You’re not going to find a more energetic, mind-blowing, roof-raising piece of entertainment. Spectacular!” Le Presse pronounced, “Acrobatics that are as spectacular as they are artistic. A completely incredible show!” Globe and Mail said  iD, “Blends hip-hop dance and circus arts together in brilliant fashion.”

Bike trial Champion, Thibaut Philippe, was born in France and began practicing 26-inch bike trial when he was 14. He and his brother learned the ins and outs of the sport, climbing with their bikes over obstacles of any kind without allowing their feet to touch the ground. Five years later, Philippe’s business instincts led him to create a foundation that would help young people finance the purchase of their own trial bikes. With a desire to continue his support of the sport’s up-and-coming riders, and to further expand the 20-inch and 26-inch bike trial sports worldwide, Thibaut remains as active in his foundation as with his entrepreneurial skills.

iD is a production of Théâtre T & Cie.
