Rope, Trapeze, Juggling
Selene Ballesteros-Minguer was born in Uruguay and grew up in Vancouver. She exceled in math and chemistry, and played a number of sports including artistic gymnastics. Growing up, she cultivated an interest for the arts and in her teen years, she reached a turning point when she discovered her talent for circus arts. At age 14, she began her contortionist training with The Underground Circus in Vancouver. She then pursued her passion for circus at the National Circus School in Montreal, where she specialized in aerial rope. After all those years of training, this bubbly and energetic artist is excited to be part of Cirkopolis.
