Circus Performers: auditions in Montreal, Qc – July 2017

As part of the Montréal Complètement Cirque festival, Cirque du Soleil, les 7 Doigts and Cirque Éloize are holding, for the very first time, general auditions for circus artists on July 10 and 11, 2017.

Qualifications:

• Candidates must be at least 18 years old at the time of the audition.

Interested candidates must apply online here http://cirk.me/2pdOaHw and submit:

1. A CV/resumé;
2. A photo;
3. One video demo featuring:

• introduction to the camera (name, age, training, experience) – maximum 1 min.;
• full circus act(s), in a rehearsal space or live (make sure you are easy to identify);
• full demonstration of your other artistic talents, if applicable – maximum 3 min.

(we ask that you submit ONLY ONE complete video not exceeding 15 minutes in length)

SUBMISSION DEADLINE: JUNE 24, 2017  (or as soon as possible, places are limited)

Important information:

• All complete applications (with a CV and video demo) will be evaluated;
• Only selected candidates will be contacted and will receive an email to confirm their presence approximately two weeks before the audition;
• Artists invited to audition must bring their own equipment.

Please note that:

• Cirque du Soleil, les 7 Doigts and Cirque Eloize will not pay for any expenses incurred by candidates attending this audition.
• This is a general audition. Candidates who successfully pass the audition will become part of database of potential artists for future casting calls.

Terms and Conditions of applying online:

1. The profile information of candidates will be used by Cirque du Soleil, les 7 Doigts and Cirque Eloize;
2. The material submitted by candidates will not be returned to candidates;
3. The material of candidates who are not selected will not be returned to candidates and may be destroyed;
4. By applying online, candidates who submit their material via a video demo link agree that we will extract their material from these links if needed to add it to the candidate’s profile.
