The Éloize Club
Éloize is word originating from the Acadian patois meaning "heat lightning". It is commonly used in the Magdalen Islands, an archipelago in the heart of the St-Lawrence Gulf, some 200 km off the coast of Quebec. Cirque Éloize's seven founding members being all natives of the islands, this lightning bolt symbolizes the heat and energy that feed the troupe's spirit.
