Ben Nesrallah has been actively performing, recording, collaborating, arranging, producing and teaching across North America and Europe the for the past 12 years. Although his formal training is in classical piano (M. Mus), Ben has firmly planted himself as one of his generation’s most promising folk talents. He is a founding member of the Ottawa-based duo The Noisy Locomotive, which showcases his versatility as a multi-instrumentalist. The group’s third album All Nature Soon Will Settle Down To Rest was released in October 2015, and they have been invited to play at many major festivals across eastern Canada. 2015 also marked the release of The River—his first collection of solo recordings for banjo and voice.
In addition to a rigourous international touring schedule, 2017 will mark the release of his second solo album The Road Less Travelled, and a new release from Chloé Laberge + The Noisy Locomotive.
